Earlier this month, a representative from Camp Edwards joined us at Kinnikinnick School for an informational meeting for all parents.  Our 5th grade students will be making this trip on May 19-21st.  Some of the wonderful activities that students will be able to participate in include canoeing, tower climbing, ropes courses, and other team-building activities.

Our staff and students were honored to thank our local veterans.

We had a great turnout for our Parent Visitation Day.  We feel parent involvement is very important to the success of our students.  All of our efforts are made easier by the consistent support that parents provide their children both at home and school.

Earlier this month our staff took part in McTeacher Night at McDonald's.  With the support of our parents and students we were able to raise over $600.00 for our PTO.

I was happy to have the opportunity to come in to say, “Howdy” to Mrs. Williams’ classroom.  They were reading the story Boss of the Plains by Laurie Carlson.  Her class did an excellent job explaining the main points from the story.  What a great group of students!

The Harlem Wizard basketball game was a fun time for everyone.

What a great Spirit Week.  This week ended with TJ from the Harlem Wizards.  Our students enjoyed his positive message and great basketball moves.
