Title I Programs
Title I is a federally funded program designed to ensure that all children have a fair and equal opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. The Title I mission is to ensure that each child successfully meets or exceeds Illinois' proficient and advanced levels of student performance and meets or exceeds expectations on local, state, and national assessments.

The Title I schoolwide program is a comprehensive reform strategy designed to upgrade the entire educational program in a Title I school. The goal of Title I is to provide extra support and instruction for students struggling to meet academic standards.
Title I Preschool
Ledgewood School
The Title I Preschool classroom consists of two half day programs that runs Monday through Friday. The classroom is a readiness program for pre-kindergarten students who are in need of a more structured educational and social experience to prepare them for kindergarten.

PARENTS RIGHT-TO-KNOW In accordance with ESEA Section 1111(h)(6) PARENTS RIGHT-TO-KNOW, Kinnikinnick District #131 is notifying every parent of a student in a Title I school that you have the right and may request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teacher.
